Film Music
Project: Awakening
Journey through space and back down to Earth, as we try to connect with humanity's origins. Guided by memories of what Earth once was, the animation tackles themes such as longing for nature, isolation, and exploration and discovery.
In collaboration with animation students at UTS, I wrote the underscoring for this film which can be accessed below. As this film is currently being submitted to multiple festivals, the page is password protected. Classical-esque
HSC MAJOR WORK
"The Land Before Time" and "Fluid Versatility" is my major work which I handed in for my HSC (High School Certificate). I composed everything myself on Sibelius which was then handed to my teachers. They transferred the data to midi and audio files which is the result of what you are hearing. Unfortunately, I had no control over what the midi would sound like or how it was mixed. These audio files are a reflection of what the composition might sound like using computer-generated sounds.
The Land Before Time
"The Land Before Time" was composed for an 8-piece orchestra consisting of Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Violin I & II, Timpani and Cymbals. Inspired by the Jurassic Park franchise, this composition will surely transport you to another world.
Fluid Versatility
"Fluid Versatility" was composed for a Percussive trio consisting of Xylophone, Marimba and Piano. The aim of this composition was to explore the synergy between the most common melodic percussion instruments.
